  • Important Notice

It is with sadness that I report that our General Secretary, Jim Allen, KCCH, fell victim to an apparent stroke on Friday, February 6th.

Happily, Brother Jim has been moved from the intensive care unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital to a normal room and as such can now have visitors and calls.

I had the privilege of talking to brother Jim this Sunday, and he has asked me to express his and his family’s gratitude for all of the calls and visits he has.
He has now began that long road to rehabilitation.

We are in contact with the family and they are keeping us up to date on his progress. Or as Jim told me, Just call Saint Josephs Hospital direct.

Please contact the office for updated information.

  • Remember Those Who Have Served

The Supreme Council, 33rd and the congressionally appointed White House Commission on Remembrance are partnering to remember America’s fallen this Memorial Day by designating a “Moment” for remembrance on May 26th. The “Moment” is to be observed in a fashion you deem appropriate at 3:00 pm local time.

Examples of past activities have ranged from simply pausing for a moment of silence, to hosting a barbecue and singing the Star Spangled Banner.

For more information on the National Moment of Remembrance please visit http://www.remember.gov or contact Chris Mullaney at cmullaney@remember.gov.
