Coming Soon!

The Stockton Scottish Rite News by eMail!

Are you aware the Stockton Scottish Rite News will soon be available by email? Each month our email distribution list will increased, and we hope that we can include you to our list as well. As a Stockton Scottish Rite member or friend you will be able to receive your News by email approximately one week earlier than the version received by conventional mail. In addition you will also receive all flyers by email. You will also receive something that conventional subscribers don’t get -- updates. These updates will be event schedule changes, added events, degree dates, any change or addition.

To get on the list click here to send an email please include “Add me to the News list” in the subject line. Of course if for any reason you wish to be taken off the list or your email address changed just let us know, and we will immediately make the requested change. Most important; your email address will not be shared with anyone. Your email address will only be stored in the Scottish Rite News system and as part of our special email distribution list. Why accept your News by email? Eventually we hope to have all issues of the News and its attachments sent out only as emails. This will save our Scottish Rite money in the form of reduced postage and printing costs.

Fraternally,
Dennis R. Jackson

Remember Those Who Have Served

image

The Supreme Council, 33rd and the congressionally appointed White House Commission on Remembrance are partnering to remember America’s fallen this Memorial Day by designating a “Moment” for remembrance on May 26th. The “Moment” is to be observed in a fashion you deem appropriate at 3:00 pm local time.

Examples of past activities have ranged from simply pausing for a moment of silence, to hosting a barbecue and singing the Star Spangled Banner.

For more information on the National Moment of Remembrance please visit http://www.remember.gov or contact Chris Mullaney at cmullaney@remember.gov

There was once a bunch of guys that would bring their own lunch on Wednesdays and eat with their friends at the Rite! All they needed was something to eat. The Rite provided everything else.

It can happen again if you want. Let us know your interest.
